Classes


Tiny Dancers

Basic ballet skills, terminology, rhythm, and coordination are taught, practiced, and developed through creative movement, music, and mime in a supportive and supervised environment as well as basic jazz rhythm, coordination, basic jazz terminology and choreography.


Hip Hop

Jr. Hip Hop – This class teaches rhythm, coordination, and age-appropriate hip hop choreography with no suggestive music or movements. This class is upbeat and great for kids who like to move.

Hip Hop – This class teaches rhythm, musicality, coordination, and age-appropriate hip hop choreography with no suggestive music or movement. This is an excellent class for high energy kids who want to take a fast and fun dance class.


Lyrical

Pre-Lyrical – This fusion of ballet and jazz, uses expressive motions that tell a story. Students will learn lyrical technique along with how to express emotion through movement.

Lyrical – This class blends the sustained controlled movement of ballet with freedom, power, and dynamics of jazz and modern dance. An emphasis will be placed on explanation of terminology, warm-up, isolation, barre, and center with more emphasis on strengthening turns, jumps, flexibility, technical execution, and more difficult combinations.


Tap

This class teaches rhythm, coordination, basic tap terminology and choreography. Students will then put the fundamentals to work by learning new steps, rhythms, patterns, and combinations. Students will also learn different styles of tap such as Stomp, Showboat, and Rhythmic.


Aerial Yoga

Aerial Yoga is like yoga, but in the air. (Actual description coming soon)


Aerial Kids  

Beginner – Aerial basics is a class that introduces student to the fundamentals of the aerial arts.  Students will learn basic technique that applies to the different aerial equipment.  Aerial arts are structured through a progression structure that each student will work to through execute and complete these skills and techniques.

Advanced – This is a class for returning aerial students who are ready to start sequencing their skills.  Aerial students will also work on more progressed skills and technique throughout the duration of this class.
